Walking the walk.

We are interested in schools that use international education to strengthen local identity, local teachers and local capacity.

Central Java

What true international education can look like.

One partner school has deep local roots and remains Indonesian first. Its national program matters. Its local teachers matter. Its leadership and identity remain local. International education is added to that foundation rather than used to replace it.

International teachers work in a hybrid model and are paired directly with Indonesian teachers as partners. They teach, plan and reflect together. Students get to know them. The outside expertise becomes part of the school instead of sitting above it.

The economics change too. Instead of carrying the full cost and dependency of a traditional expat position, the school can bring in the right subject expertise where it matters most. The result is lower overhead, stronger relationships and professional development built into the work itself.

The same principle shapes technology. A strong LMS and digital content become tools the school can use at sustainable pricing, while training and support build local confidence. The goal is not to make the school look more Western. It is to give the school access to the world without asking it to become less Indonesian.

What we want more of

Local leadership

Decision-making stays with the people who know the community best.

Teacher partnership

International teachers work beside local teachers, not above them.

Better economics

Schools spend less on layers and more on students, teachers and learning.

Your school does not have to choose between local identity and global access.

It can have both.
